We had a great time visiting Doi Suthep and Wat Umong at night. It was our first evening tour, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but everything was wonderful. Tour guide K'TikTok was perfect. All tours we booked for Chiang Mai on Voyon so far were seamless and the pick-up was right on time! Highly recommended.

Brought my mum out together and totally forgot there is a hike! Nonetheless, it was a nice hike and the tour guide was super patient and took good care of my mum and myself. Views are super pretty and the weather that day was too good for a hike!

Wonderful experience with Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary! Picked up from Chiang Mai with a lovely driver. Got to feed the elephants bananas, bathe them in mud, and wash them in the river. It was fun & the elephants seemed happy

Best experience ever
The whole day was amazing!
We were picked up on time by an open back taxi, the drive to the sanctuary is a hour and a half out through jungle and uneven roads, but was okay.
We arrived along with a group of about 20, and changed into the uniforms. The elephants were already waiting for us!
We spent the morning feeding their 4 elephants bananas, learning about their past and what they do now. There was a photographer taking photos, as well as the staff taking photos on our phones for us. Plenty of photos opportunities! We then were slathered in mud and gave them a mud bath, before trekking to the local river to cool them down and wash the mud off. Next we took a further 20 minute hike in our swimwear to a beautiful waterfall, where we could swim, and locals sold drinks and beautiful bracelets which they would tie for you and give you a blessing.
Our tour included lunch, which was rice and curried fruits. In the afternoon, the tour consisted of “rafting”, which ended up being 10ft bamboo rafts. The afternoon was also brilliant. We were guided along a river, where other local elephants would splash us as we went past. Locals were there drinking and having fun, and were waving and splashing us too.
The day was just brilliant.
One thing to note, as we were very conscious we wanted to go to a place that treated the elephants with respect, is that their elephants wear little GPS tracking necklaces, and have free roam of the jungle. They come back every morning for their fruity treats and mud baths, but are free to roam afterwards. There was no riding, ties, or small pens.
