Hug Elephant Sanctuary is a family owned and operated elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our beautiful camp is located approximately 45mins outside the city centre.

Itinerary

  • Pick up at your hotel in Chiang Mai at 8:00 AM.
  • Arrive at Hug Elephant and meet your local Thai guide
  • Learn about the behaviour and history of elephants
  • Feed and interact with elephants in their natural environment
  • Trek with the elephants to a hilltop with a beautiful view of the surrounding area
  • Return to camp to enjoy a delicious Thai meal
  • Walk with the elephants down to the river
  • Give the elephants a mud bath
  • Swim in the waterfalls
  • Change into your dry clothes
  • Return to your hotel at aprox 5:00 PM.
