Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary one day, we are 100% ethical and eco elephant camp in Chaing Mai with No-Ridding activity, here we do not use hooks or chained them. For many years, elephants in Thailand had to work for humans. Most of them work in high-density population and traffic area, which make elephants more stressed and frightened. To safe the elephant from living with fear, we aimed to bring the elephant back to their home in naturally remote area and living there peacefully.

• Pick up at your hotel in Chiang Mai town at 8:00-8:30 AM.
• Drive for about 1 hrs, stop at a local market to buy food for elephants.
• Keep driving about 30 mins to our sanctuary.
• After arriving, change into a local uniform provided.
• Learn basic information about the elephants and the sanctuary.
• Meet the elephants, Feed them by your own hand and being with them closely.
• Learn how to make Karen Hilltribe’s herbal medicine for elephants.
• Enjoy making paper from elephants’ poo!!
• Enjoy our traditional Thai lunch
• Elephant Mud Spa!!
• Walk along with the elephants.
• Bath and swim with them in a natural river.
• Walk about 10 mins to relax at a waterfall nearby.
• Take some photos.
• Having some snacks and back to your hotel in Chaing Mai about 5:00-6:00 pm.

Pick up Time

Pick up 8:00-8:30 AM | Drop off 5:00-6:00 PM.
